Anybody Know The Name Of The Fuel Saving Device That Was On Today Tonight Ages Ago?
It was featured on today tonight (East Coast) a few months ago. And the today tonight website doesn’t show old stories(which to me is stupid). It connects to the fuel line and it makes the fuel less dense or something. Saving around 20%.
I have googled and I found one but it doesn’t look the same as the one on today tonight. I can remember it was an Australian Idea. And this one that i found says it was UK. So i’m not sure it is right. Anyway Can anybody remember the name? Or has anybody got one? If so can you also tell me if its worth it.
Thanks

Combine your trips. Don’t let your car idle/warm up. Anticipate your stops (coast a lot, avoid hard braking). Stay at or below the speed limit. Check your tire pressure. Don’t carry weight in the car that you don’t need. If you’re due for an oil change, tire rotation, air filter change, or tune up, do so. Use the correct grade of oil for your car. Use the correct octane level for your car (avoid using high octane “premium” unless your owner’s manual calls for it).
Those are proven techniques for increasing the fuel economy of your car.
I would avoid wasting your money on supposed gas saving devices. Most do not work, may void your car’s warranty, and may make your vehicle’s emissions worse.
I suggest reading: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer…

And the EPA’s testing of these devices can be found at: http://www.epa.gov/otaq/consumer/reports…
In a nutshell, the “Vaporate” is supposed to improve atomisation of fuel by warming it before injection. It’s another clip-on device, but around the injectors themselves.
aka: Fuel Saver Pro, Tornado Fuel Saver and Fuel Atomizer 2000.
Save your money. It’s a scam.

Yea.. I’m not sure about that device Your talking about… but I started using this system about a few months ago. Found it at http://convert.water-for-gas.com
From My Experience I put it in my 2001 Honda Accord and increased my gas mileage 30-35%. Now I’m not a Scientist, engineer, or some reasearcher in thermodynamics. I just got the parts followed the instructions and I save money, so hope this helps.
It was some kind of magnet, I can’t remember what it was called though. Maybe this is it, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fuel-Magn…
