Another trick for gas saving on car?
Will this save gas on car, if you unplug some spark plugs from the engine so a 8 cylinders engine have only 4 cylinders running?

No your car will run like crap and in turn eat more fuel.
New cars like the dodge charger are designed for that.
no it would disrupt the firing order and gas would still enter the cylinder and just get wasted
Actually you will do damage to your engine. The unburned gas will make it into your oil. Gas is not a lubricant and after enough time it will damage the internal components of your engine. It will also run rough.
You’ll save gas because your car will quit running…Trade it in for a 4 cyllinder car..
I think you should try it and find out. Sounds like you are definitely qualified to start unplugging things under your hood.
Figure out how much you’d save on gas by getting a smaller car. If this is more than the cost (price, insurance, registration, maintenance, etc. etc.) of upgrading, then consider getting a newer/smaller car. If not, then just feel good that whatever extra you’re spending on fuel gets saved on the other expenses.
BTW, don’t unplug cylinders unless you want to destroy your engine. It’s either engineered with variable cylinder management or not. This isn’t a shade tree technology.
That is dangerous. The ignition module will be ruined and gas will continue to be sucked into the engine and not do any work. This unburned gas will accumulate in the catalytic converter and ruin that too. Gradual accelleration is the best you can do. Also, don’t take a chance on getting spark plug wires mixed up. You only need two loose to make a mistake getting them back on wrong.
