01′ Jeep Grand Cherokee LPG Conversion W/ 4.0l motor?
I am intrested in converting a to a dual fuel LPG / Gasoline on my 2001 jeep grand cherokee it has a 4.0 and most people that have converted their own have the 4.7 v8. So there is not much information. I need to know what model impco mixer to buy, what model impco
vaporizer I will need, allong with a ECU / emulator that is good for my jeep, I heard that self learning is what to look for. I would prefer to build my own kit rather than buy a premade kit set for my vehicle incase I change cars. Also I think it may save me $$$. Any info, please be detailed, is very apperciated. I cannot buy a new car and this thing sucks on gas. So this is my only hope.

DO NOT EVEN THINK OF THOSE STUPID WASTE OF MONEY “RUN YOUR CAR ON WATER” ads. Pure junk and will not work! Basic physics 101, It will take at least 10 x the energy to break the molecular bonds in water to produce enough hydrogen to run your car than you can produce from the alternator!
I talked to my local LPG distributor about this also, but found that the current cost of LPG and energy available is really not economically a viable alternative.
I have also investigated CNG, which seems a better solution in that you can charge at your house, but the total cost is still very high.
There are sites on the internet that have these kits from India. Do a search and see what you find.
